Govt bans 16 Pak YouTube channels, writes to BBC India head over Pahalgam coverage

Acting on the recommendations of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Centre has reportedly banned 16 Pakistani YouTube channels for disseminating provocative and communally sensitive content as well as misinformation against India, the army and security agencies in the backdrop of the Pahalgam attack.

ED slaps fine of over ₹3.44 crore on BBC India over alleged foreign exchange violations

The Enforcement Directorate on Friday imposed a penalty of Rs 3.44 crore on British broadcaster BBC for alleged foreign exchange violations. The agency has also slapped a fine of Rs 1.14 crore each on three BBC India directors.
