Texas students Nikhitha Swaminathan and Aanya Jindal designed a new way to control heat
Two Allen ISD freshmen, Nikhitha Swaminathan and Aanya Jindal, won the national Grade 7–9 division of the Toshiba/NSTA ExploraVision competition. Their project, “Micro-Gap Thermal Diode for Passive Heat Control,” proposes a future passive cooling approach for electronics, data centres and spacecraft. Each student will receive a $10,000 award.
