Water level in Mettur Dam reduces drastically, drinking water supply will not be affected, says Salem Corporation

Per day Salem Corporation receive 130 MLD water, including 13 MLD water, through the Attur-Nangavalli water supply scheme. Officials said the water discharge from the Mettur dam will be stopped for delta irrigation while the dam touches 20 feet water level.
