Criminal complaint filed against nursery director over alleged abuse

SHIZUOKA -- A criminal complaint was filed Monday against the director of a private nursery school in Susono, Shizuoka Prefecture, on suspicion that he shielded the perpetrators of abuse against children at the facility.

Three nursery school teachers allegedly abused children in such ways as suspending them off the floor and showing them a box cutter knife at a nursery school in Susono, Shizuoka Prefecture, according to the city's government.
