The new series of The Apprentice is about to get under way, with 18 more hopefuls vying to win. The 2023 instalment is due to begin airing this week. It'll screen on BBC One on Thursday nights.

The show, where Lord Alan Sugar whittles down the hopefuls with weekly challenges before one wins a £250,000 investment in their business from him, has been running since 2005. Here are the candidates aspiring to win Lord Sugar’s cash this year:
