Bengaluru to revive 7 dysfunctional biomethanisation plants & install 4 new ones, totalling 85 TPD capacity. 3000 tonnes of waste landfilled daily. BSWML wants to expand on biomethanisation plant infrastructure & reduce reliance on landfills. Biggest hurdles: lack of space & opposition from residents.
